Bledsoe bashers are all going to try and dismiss this first half because of what happened in 2002, but they try to forget about the 2nd half of last season when Drew was 6-2 including 6 straight wins.

Over the last full season Drew is 11 and 5 as a starter, with 24 TDs and 15 INT (matching his All-Pro 2002 numbers).

Drew is on a pace this season for 4038 yards, 26 TDs 12 INT

After starting 2004 0-4, Drew hasn't had a losing 4 game stretch during the last 1.25 seasons. Quarter by quarter for the last 6 quarters:

2004
-------
0-4
3-1
3-1
3-1
2-2
3-1

Good info, very encouraging. I think the Bledsoe haters have already eatin their share of crow for the season. I havent seen much Bledsoe bashing of any validity. He'll do good things here hopefully for 2 or 3 years!!

You can point to last weeks pick, but don't forget 3 things:

1) The defense blew the lead - Drew never should have been out there to begin with
2) The game was already tied, and the Seahawks had momentum - I didn't like their chances in OT too much.
3) That was Drew's only 4th quarter turnover of the whole half-season! It happens.

Wasn't there an article last week that referenced some Buffalo reporter saying that Bledsoe started off fine but dwindled out after game 5 or 6?

This doesn't mesh with what he said.

He's probably just a Buffalo homer that didn't want to say anything good about him or something. I don't know.

That was the 2002 season. But Drew had some excellent games late in the year, like the snow game vs. Miami. He just happened to play the Pats twice in the 2nd half. The Bills were remarkably .500 that year. They were 1-1, 2-2, 3-3, 5-5, 6-6, 7-7 and 8-8. They just flip flopped one game out of sequence of perfect win/loss all year. The first half/2nd half thing was an illusion in terms of W/L.
