Going to pay homage to those blind recording artists, if ya have any ya want to add, do it!

Will only do a couple at a time don't want to be a hog. Guessing, hmmmmm?...around 20ish of those that we can mention, mostly old blues cats but not all.

Nobody came before this cat, he was the first male "star" of them blues, a Texan.

This from 1926

He was in Chicago in the dead of winter his driver left him on the side of the road, just bailed, he froze to death right there on the street.

Blind Blake is a mystery in them blues, nobody knows what happened to him, he just ....poof!

Also from 1926, those two as far back as this can go.

In the first Jack Reacher novel...Killing Floor...Lee Childs writes about Reacher being in a Georgia seeing what he can find out about what did happen to Blind Blake, of course another adventure finds him.
