first off Moss and Porter arnt very good (especially Moss, who appears washed up even when he does try)...Schuab is far from a sure thing, but as a passer he does have alot more upside than Vick-turd

defensively they have a LONG way to go...they are gonna be pretty bad there for a few seasons...

also as fyi, Adrian Peterson isnt going to be the #1 pick

I really have no idea, but Peterson isnt worth a #1 overall pick...IMO he's somehwere between 10-20 probably

if they had the #1 pick, they might take a QB themselves

The trade details sound totally bogus but it would actually be a good trade for the Raiders.

Their offensive line cannot block, giving up more sacks than any team in the NFL. Vick wouldn't be asked to be a pocket-passer because there wouldn't be a pocket to pass from. Their runningbacks aren't that good, so Vick upgrades them at that spot too. Getting rid of Moss is a huge plus.

So they move from the #1 to the #10. In the #1 spot they pretty much have to take a QB, one who will not have any sort of team around him. Moving to the #10, they can take a top receiver and runningback in the second or vice versa.

If Vick doesn't pan out, they will be in position to draft a top QB (Brohm?) next year and have some pieces in place to allow him to be successfull.

since you are a ND fan what do you think, maybe they are trying to get Quinn with the 1st pick and play Schaub for a year or two to get Quinn ready to play.

That would probably work out perfect for Atlanta.

Young QB with good WR's, definitely should make him improve even faster.
