He wanted to do something. He didn’t know what, necessarily. He just knew he had to do something. That’s how it started.

When Travis Frederick entered the NFL in 2013, drafted by the Dallas Cowboys in the first round with the 31st pick overall, he knew right away that he could make a difference. Through their exposure and income, professional football players are put in a unique position that gives them a chance to impact those within the community if they so choose.

Frederick didn’t want to waste his opportunity. He chose to act.
