Does anybody know if the NFL has people making sure that doesn't happen? I've always wondered about that.

They do have a team of investigators but I don't know if they spend much time on this type of issue. Mara of the Giants probably has a full time investigative team assigned to the Cowboys...

If an owner got caught doing it, they could be banned from the league and forced to sell the team. More likely the team would lose a massive amount of draft picks and probably salary cap space as well.

Couldn't Jerry just give him a front office job in the offseason and pay him 30 million. Or a job like keeping Jerry's glasses clean for him on a daily bases.

No. He could hire a player after they retire, but he can't give them a big money job while their an active player.

I think this line will end up having three of the best to ever play their particular position for the Cowboys all time. LT Smith C Fred RG Martin. The others would be LG Allen and RT either Rayfield Wright or Eric Williams.

I dom't think the coaches feel Collins projects to a tackle position, IIRC. He is a guard.

He might be better at OG than at OT; however, there is no way that he wouldn't be better than Doug Free at RT.

I seriously think the OL is the MVP of this team. I love Zeke and Dak, but if headlines were not focused on skill positions, the headlines would read "Cowboys' Offensive Line Takes Cowboys to 8th Straight Victory".

Worth the risk

If we don't get caught, we get an amazing player with no hit to the salary cap.
If we get caught, Jerry is no longer our owner!

Hey, if Cowboys fans are really serious about this, someone can set up a "Leary, Don't leave Dallas" ********** page. I don't think the NFL could do anything about it.
