Still very early but Gurode getting the nod over Al is interesting to say the least. Reports over the past couple days are that Al's losing ground and then this confirms it.

We will see. I really hope Gurode is over the hump with the mental errors.

Yeah, well, we shall see about that. I am not convinced about Gurode unless he startind day one regular season.

You don't hear oohs and ahhs in a blog recap and we are all ready to put these player's pictures on milk cartons and assume they are terrible.

Sometimes no news is good news.
You are really 43 years old? Seriously? I saw your little note and thought, "oh boy, can't wait 'till school resumes once again". Anyway, while I'm certain your witty retort has left many here gasping for air through the belly laughter, it's essentially non-reponsive. My question was a simple one with no implications. Perhaps it would have been better for you not to say anything since you evidently are unable to answer my question, and foolishly presume to know what I think, and we both know the latter is not possible.

Cheers.

The "you don't" wasn't meant to mean YOU specifically.

But nearly every thread with these recaps has someone thinks some player is omitted for some reason. And that usually is meant to imply they are not doing well. And I know that wasn't your intention.

It just gets tiring to see many questions bordering on near panic just because we haven't heard much from a player.

We haven't heard anything from Fasano, that's not good!

Carpenter is third string? That's not good either!

So far, of Parcells former players, Aaron Glenn, is as good if not better than advertised. I guess Drew Bledsoe is not that bad, but everyone knows his limitations, so its not like there were that high of expectations.

Richie Anderson I suppose is another guy that wasn't bad at all either I guess.

Key was quite good. Bledsoe was better till the O line collapsed. Overall, we have done quite well with BP's guys.

Yep, plus he has the "Brusier Brody" avatar, which is A-OK in my book.

Great report, but why give credit to Austintodallas? He is just copying a report from a website.

This Grizz guy seems to know his stuff.

As for the center, I am wondering about the possibility that Parcells does in fact rotate centers based on what kind of defense we play. Unless one or the other just takes the position and seperates himself from the other.

From what I heard and thought Parcells was saying...is that he does rotate centers based on the defense the guys are playing against...

I think he said the Guorde might be better against a 3 -4 defense, and that Johnson might be better for a 4 -3 defense...

And that makes sense to me, to train certain players for different formations...same thing with the defense...

I think people are totally missing the link at the very top of the post. They just jump right into the info.

But your right, Grizz puts out good info.

Well, I don't know who Grizz is, but I know what Justin Beriault looks like, and he was right there practicing with the other DB's, like Chrissyboy said.
