Blowing this draft

We blew it....should've picked Sean Smith in round 2 or traded up for Ray Maluga (sp?), then we still had a chance to take some good players and blew it again in round 3.
Should've taken Rashad Johnson and Duke Robinson in the third. Heck, Ramses Barden, Mike Thomas, Mike Wallace, Mike Hamlin, Beckwith, Bomar, McKillop, Hill, Tate, or Iglesias would've been far better picks in the third IMO.
We didn't need more picks, 12 rookies will not make the roster.

What a waste

Try to miss the cars when you jump off the ledge. Repairs can be expensive.

It's still early, we have 10 picks left, but I'm not enthused (at all) by what I've seen thus far.

I don't get it at all. In fact, none of these picks make sense to me. But... I guess over the years I have learned not to question these things. They are Cowboys now, so I'm going with it.

No kidding......This is the reason I avoid this board on draft day. It's amazing how many professional scouts we have here though.

We blew it because we didn't pick the guys YOU wanted? Thanks for the opinion!

None of these are sexy picks, but let's not go over the edge on 3rd round players.

If nothing else, we have some depth at positions we need players at.

We're not blowing anyone out of the water, but so far, I have no complaints over this draft. These are lunch pail type of guys ... it's a good start.

If these guys turn out to be good players then it wasn't a bad draft.

Evidently they saw more potential in these 2 than anyone else left on the board.

You have to give Dallas the benefit of the doubt with the way they have been drafting.

I like what the Cowboys are doing... the opposite of what fans would do!

The picks make perfect sense to me. We needed another lb, and got a really good one who will be able to contribute. I can see them moving him inside. As far as Brewster, we need a LT that can replace Flo in a year or two. Who else on the roster are you comfortable putting in that position is Flo gets injured?

There are still plenty of players out there to get in positions of need.

Solid picks for where we are drafting.

Eric Williams was a 3rd rounder.....

there's actually a lot of people here that would bat an equal or better average on draft picks than those in our war room....
guess i just don't like 9-7

Boys must have intelligence (still, it's early in draft so these things would be known) that these guys were coveted by other teams picking in the third round... take 'em now or never.

Have to be. Else we would have bailed down a round ...

Brewster sounds like a Hudson Houck guy. Giant, slow, giant and slow. Excellent character.

How do you know this, 20 minutes after a guy is drafted? You really can't evaluate a draft until 2-3 years down the road. It's not about today. It's about this year and beyond. There were a couple guys I would rather have had as well but these guys study these players more than anyone of us do.

And besides, there are still other rounds to go.

He can play both T and G. That's big plus.

actually Brewster looks pretty quick for a guard- which is where he will end up.
