Hate to think this way, but i wonder if hes going to be active because the coaching staff believes in him or if injuries to Lamb/Turpin have forced their hands and they need someone to return kicks.

This kid will will transform this offense with his speed and his making people miss abilities. Teams will have to game plan for Jaydon Blue. Throw Blue some screens and some short passes out of the backfield and simply run him between the tackles , he will be a difference maker for Big D.

Jerry's new FA rbs had to play first instead.......the GM doesn't look very good if it appears his FA running backs weren't needed because they are outplayed by a rookie.

Hes gotten his boys out there for 4 weeks so perhaps he LET Shotty finally get Blue in the game

I wouldn't label it specifically....all we really know is that for whatever reason the coaching staff hasn't felt like he is ready to be on the 53. I'd think there is still a very good chance he barely plays this weekend and mostly sees time on special teams with Turpin being injured, but we will see.

But one of two things will happen....

1. he tears it up and all the whiners emerge to tell us how bad the coaching staff is, how bad Jerry is, how bad the team is and that it doesn't matter they aren't going anywhere anyway.
