Our team has this habit of getting off to slow starts. The way I see it, the opposing team just needs to score fast and then play off the rest of the game. They are playing bend but don't break banking on Dallas turning the ball over as they work their way up the field. The worse part is, the Cowboys are the ones eating up a huge chunk of time.

The Jets played to win. They wanted to score on every possession. Sometimes it felt like the sense of urgency wasnt there for the Cowboys. The clock keeps ticking and we're being too nonchalant about it.

That's been the formula for neutralizing our offense under JG. Either Romo was able to do his magic and get us a win or get killed. It's now happening with Dak.

A lot depends on who's gonna play. If we're down out starting tackles and Cooper, crowd the box and press man coverage. On offense, take what our defense gives and run up the middle.

Attack the middle of the field. We have no players who can disrupt the A gap consistent enough. Run it down there often and follow up with short and intermediate routes up the middle on play action. Have my QB audible to quick slants when Dallas DBs are more than 5 yards off. Have QB stay up in the pocket since no pressure comes from the middle ever. This will keep Lawrence sackless. Use that same gap to escape on a run when our LBs feel the need to back pedal 10-15 yards down the field.

we get manhandled down the middle..thats how we get attacked early in games. By the time we adjust,its too late..THEN we blame Dak and the refs as to why we couldn't win. ITS CRAZY. It clear, we need a new voice on D and a leader as a HC.
