Stephen McGee is a waste of roster space. He needs to go. We don't have anybody worth keeping behind him otherwise he'd be considered a progress stopper. That 2009 draft is still haunting us.

I don't know if we realized it at the time, but McGee's talent was identified as poor after last year's TC when they kept Kitna.
We needed the roster spot, but McGee couldn't beat out Kitna or give the coaching staff confidence that he could be more than a "bus driver".
Having Orton this year will free up that very important roster spot.

I recall Bedford made a few good catches. The TD, one over the middle, and the comeback.

Yeah, he played well...no doubt
I think maybe even better than I realized, but it's key to understand that all his work was vs 2nd and 3rd team guys.
