Blueprint for beating us..?

I know we just missed a few passes here and there plus the usual penalties at the worst time but I would expect teams to watch film on how GB exploited us when they were on offense, Rogers hitting all those quick screens going across and basically how to beat our rush
On defense it looked like Tony had trouble figuring out the Capers 3-4...maybe it was a dramatic change from the one he practices against ala Wade...go figure.!
.. with this loss and the fallout we suffered with injuries at key positions,we need to see if we can join the elite now and see if our injured players replacements will 'step up' as they do in NE and Indy.... nobody wants to hear any excuses if we start losing that we are missing so and so etc
GB was playing at 70% strength at best but it looked to me that their scrubs certainly 'stepped up' when they had to today
.....next Sunday will prove alot as the Skins must be feeling good about their win today and will look for more at our expense plus the usual division rivalry intensity that comes with it

green bay layed the blueprint out last year but couldn't execute it fully. the next week the skins did execute it and beat us. this year green bay layed out the blueprint again yet this time they executed it. next week is vs the skins at home. deja vu?

Blitz !! The oline is too stupid or lazy to pick it up all game. Expect Washington to blitz heavy next week.

So we are ok because w/ your formula...the skins should lose because GB beat us already.

I can dig it.

**** down the run early, and Garrett will abandon it. Double cover Miles Austin and make other recievers beat you. Wait for the team to self destruct with a penalty or fumble and put itself in 3rd and long.

na,

a) if RW doesnt fumble,
b) Folk makes kick,
c) Scan gets his fumble recovery TD
d) Refs knew the rules ...Pack dont get that free 7, and they get penalty for call a challenge they dont have

its a 17-10 game

....we are all talking about a different outcome.....**** happens and it most definitely happened today but its just a loss....they will recover

blue print indeed, wade told us all we would run the ball more this year! I guess he needs to let his offensive cord/next head coach in on that

Some of the issues were line related others Romo didnt see the blitz presnap and check off to open WR.

Capers disguised his blitzes better. Tony missed the fact that they were blitzing more men then blockers. I am still trying to figure out what the hell is wrong with the blitz spacing on the Dallas D, every time Dallas blitzed it seemed that 7 were being blocked by 5 and the Dallas O-line couldn't keep 5 blocked.

GB was blitzing every down. Garrett didn't call plays to get the ball out quick, abandoned the run too early, and basically screwed up.

When you don't throw a screen, shovel pass, hit the backs in the flat, you better hope the OL blocks. The OL didn't pick up the blitz the whole day. Garrett had no answer.

Did you see the gaps between the GB OL? There wasn't any. They lined up in each others pockets.

There was no way our guys were busting through that.

This pretty much hits the nail on the head. I was waiting all day to see the screen or a shovel pass, and it was virtually nowhere to be seen. Yet that play was there all day... I seem to remember us using it against Philly with some success last week, but apparently JG forgot all about it this time...

They did try the one screen to Ogletree. I think it was like 3rd and 19.

It got blowed up in the BF.

Yup that's the only one I remember... I just wish we would have tried it earlier and more often.

I don't think the O line is stupid but there have been many times where I tought to myself "lazy" on plays. O line taking Randy Moss type plays off?;)

The way to play the against the Boys is to have your CBs play up and physical with our WRs and then have a little creativity on your blitzes. We haven't had a quick WR to get seperation off the line since Terry Glenn. TO, Austin, RW, Crayton none of them are quick enough to get the seperation needed to make teams pay for their blitzes.
