With the advent of the computer age board games are not as popular as they used to be. Do you have a favorite?

Mine is Risk. I still play it with my nephews when we have a family get together. A close second is Scrabble. I had a neighbor for 5 years when we lived in some apartments on the other side of town. We played almost every Saturday. He is now a college professor of linguistics in another state.

I used to love to play Risk a lot as a kid, then my Uncle brought over Axis and Allies and that was the end of Risk. I haven't played either in years though. From what I've seen, Axis and Allies has changed a lot. :(

I used to love the game Life too. Scrabble is fun, but I burn out on it after one game and won't play it again for a long time.

Sorry and Clue were always fun too.

My current fave is Scrabble. Me & my boys don't play as much as we used to but when we do it's usually for $$$! Growing up Monopoly & Parcheesi were probably the two I played the most.

You can't fool us. We know what your game of choice is.

Umm, that was me. :D ...well, without the overalls. That might have been Paint.

I also loved Battleship, Pay Day, Monopoly & The American Dream.

Of course, nothing tops a good match of chess.

Played that as well...but no that is not me in the overalls...would not be caught dead in them and that kid is way too skinny.:laugh2:

A great game for the family if you have kids is Apples to Apples.

I am like Yeag, no one liked playing TP with me because my head is filled with useless crap as most of you know.

As a teen and young adult, my older sister (by 10 years) and I used to have epic Scrabble battles. Haven't played in years though.

Every now and again the wife and I will break out a board game. I'm a big fan of Sequence. Simple as all get out.

But if you like board games, this one isn't as well known, but it's a lot of fun. This is our favorite game:
