Boatright cut

With our luck, he'll be picked up. Of all people to cut first, why him?

wonder who made the team over him. But must be news that lawrence and or spencer will be ready sooner than we expected because they will not be on PUP or IR with the chance to come back. Maybe.

But u can almost bet Boatright will be claimed.

I hope you're right. Boatright seemed to be the only DE making plays for us.

They have 4 DEs available for game 1:
Selvie
Mincey
Crawford
Wilber (SLB / Nickel DE)

Injured:
Lawrence
Spencer

Did he make any plays against starting type OLinemen? He did feast on 3rd string guys, but I don't remember much success when he played against better OLinemen.

Good point, don't remember if he did anything vs. starters. Then again, has Bush done anything vs. starting OL? Again, not sure on that either.

Boatright supposedly played well last season with Seattle and wasn't claimed. I'm not sure why he would this time around, but it's possible.

They seemed about the same to me. I didn't expect Bush to make it because he only played LDE and they have multiple options on that side.

At this point the only defensive line spot the Cowboys could be considering is at the weak-side end position. If they feel T. McClain is going to be able to contribute 25 snaps against SF, the DT spot maybe not be seen as being a big need.

Most teams would be looking to replace Nick Hayden, but he is apparently Marinelli's grand-son-in-law. Word is Marinelli's grand-daughter gave him his famous nickname.

Wait, is this part actually true? If so, it all makes sense.

My hope is that T. McClain replaces the guy, but yeah getting Hayden off the roster would be a good thing.
