Myself I have always liked the General. Tough hardnosed SOB but the vast majority of kids who played for him are very loyal to Knight. Kids knew what they were getting into when they choose to play for Knight there was never a secret regarding the type of person and coach Bobby Knight was.

Pretty much. :laugh1: Knight was always himself and kids looking at his program knew Bobby Knight was a tough man but by the time you finished playing for him you would be a funamentally sound basketball player. As many reporters have said you talk to most of his former player they have the utmost respect for Knight

Going nuts on players, refs or media is sort of expected but when he goes off on fans or secretaries that's a different story.
