KICK RETURNERS
1. CYRUS JONES, CB, Alabama (5-10, 198, 4.46):Led the nation with four TDs on punts (57, 69, 43, 72) in 2015. "He's got the quickness to make the first man miss," one scout said. "He's not just a wall returner. He can see a seam and hit it. I don't know if he's got top-end speed but he's got pretty good speed and quickness." Returned 54 punts for a 12.5 average and 15 kickoffs for 23.4. "Catches the ball in a crowd," one coach said. "He comes up. He's not afraid, which is huge. Plants a foot, gets up field. Very courageous. He's going to be a high pick." Moved from WR to CB in '13 and was a 2 ½-year starter. From Baltimore.
2. TYREEK HILL, RB, West Alabama (5-8, 184, 4.36):Ran world-class times as a high school sprinter (10.19 100 meters, 20.14 200) in Georgia (Douglas) before spending two years in junior college. Helped Oklahoma State beat Oklahoma in '14 with 92-yard TD on a late kickoff return. "Based on 2014 tape, the best kick returner I have seen in a while," one scout said. Arrested in December 2014 for punching and strangling his girlfriend, who was eight weeks pregnant. Dismissed by Oklahoma State, he later pleaded guilty to a reduced non-felony charge and received three years probation. Surfaced at Division II West Alabama, where he averaged 12.9 on 20 punts and 23.3 on 20 kickoffs. "He tried to get into four or five different schools and the university presidents wouldn't let him on campus," another scout said. "They acquiesced at West Alabama. He can go 100 mph, stop on a dime and go 100 mph without even missing a beat. Then you watch him run out of bounds. He don't like to get hit. He's not frail, either." Visited several teams as GMs weigh the risk-reward game. "He's got communication skills and comes across as a good kid," a third scout said. "His story is very compelling, obviously. But do you trust it? Is he worth it? He not a running back or a receiver so he's kind of limited." Vertical jump was 40, broad jump was 10-9. Tiny hands (7 7/8 inches).
3. COREY COLEMAN, WR, Baylor (5-10½, 193, 4.38):Should be gone by the second round largely because of his ability on offense. Returned 26 kickoffs for a school-record 26.0 and one TD. "He's got real speed," said one coach. "I think he can be a combo guy." Has no experience returning punts. "Although he had limited opportunities," another coach said, "when he did he flashed major ability." From Richardson, Texas.
