NFL is looking at lowering the equity % families need 2 own in teams 4 control as part of broad look at succession planning.More in @sbjsbd
“We are concerned. We want to see the teams stay in the families,” said Houston Texans owner, and finance committee chairman Bob McNair
McNair also had some interesting things 2 say about salary cap, saying '14 rise largely related to TNF/CBS, and after '15, cap will level..
......off again. The expected $15 mil rise of cap in '15 tied to new broadcast contracts, but those level off, he said, after that....
.."Our TV partners try to have some consistency so they won’t have big jumps. We are all interested in seeing a more consistent, more...
...predictable [ cap].” He also said league's not going 2 hike debt max because clubs doing so well w/ CBA not even borrowing to current max

I'd like to see a cap put on premium positions like the QB so teams aren't strong armed into eating up so much cap space that they have to cut corners in other places on the roster. I'd also like a beer fountain and a unicorn that craps pot.

Sounds like everything else that comes out of ownership. We were not supposed to see any increase the last several years.

Each year the cap has exceeded expectations.

You would think at this point that you would have gotten wise to the sky (re:cap) is not falling.
