RBs got the shaft, noway you should sign a 5 year rookie deal coming out as a RB.

With the way RBs are bombing out of football that 5 year deal with guaranteed money is a boon for RB.
The 2nd rounders who hit are on 4 year deals and they generally do get shafted because they make a fraction of 1st rounders then get to year 5 and have no real way to true free agency if the team wants to keep them.

Yes, you'd be going wayyyy too far.
AP was a 4.4 flat guy who tested out well and had a full body of work in college. over 4000 yards and 41 TDs in about 2.5 years.
Gurley with a similar amount of games has 6 less TDs and about a 1000 less yards.

Gurley is a much bigger player and less elusive. He compares with some one like Jamal Lewis or Marshawn Lynch. Powerful and direct but not the same explosion as AP.

Ok he's not quite in that class but you are comparing him to some pretty good RB's there. I take Lewis in a NY sec. Lynch won't be bad either.
