The good news is barring a huge run on DTs in the mid/late portion of the 1st round, the Cowboys will be in position to select a starting caliber DT with their 2nd pick. The talent available matches their need there fortunately. Hopefully the team takes advantage.

Even better, trade down several spots and pick up an additional 2nd. Take Wentz, then a DT and CB or LB with additional 2nd.

As badly as I'd like to see us pick up a massive DT.....I wasn't impressed w/ Johnson. Didn't see the get off the ball/explosion I'd like to see. Reminds me of another turd we drafted years ago...Willie Blades. I think someone will scoop him in the 3rd. I think your reaching if you take him in the 2nd or higher. I think I'd wait...and take DJ Reader...later.

Crawford would make a better 1 than the golden cock and Marinelli usually wants 1 techs that use to be 3 techs, he wants guys who can move down the line of scrimmage and rush the passer.

Willie Blade?? Ugggghhhhh, sorry I don't see it. Blade was inconsistent, fat and lazy....the exact opposite of this kid. Is Johnson the next Vince Wilfork....probably not....is he as good as Jonathan Hankins who is a pretty useful player when healthy, yes he is.

I would be extremely pleased if he were our second round choice.

After watching this guy for 2 days now...I think we would be wasting our pick. I just don't see a guy that would give you any production. Big guys that take up space are a dime a dozen. You don't waste high picks on JAGs.
