RG III out of game three.
Is he done?

Man, there is definitely something fishy going on up there in DC....cleared to play on Thursday....same neurologist reverses his opinion on Friday. Sounds like the FO and coaching staff are in power struggle over what to do with the QB situation there. I have never seen a situation where a player was cleared then not cleared to participate in a game.....given all of the drama around this QB, you cannot convince me this decision was based solely on RGIII's neurological status. They gave the wrong Commander a reality show....instead of Desean Jackson, they should have had RGIII....I would be glued to myTV for that one....and I despise reality TV

I hope he sticks around. The longer he is on the Skins, the longer it will take for them to get back to respectability.

He's done. If Kirk plays well I can see them cutting Griffin (they won't have to pay him the money for next season), and going with Colt as the backup. They may feel like he isn't worth the circus atmosphere that surrounds everything he does. But instead of outright benching him, finding out Kirk hasn't grown any balls at all, then trying to go back to him again. They've decided to use the concussion situation as a means to keep him out without admitting they wanted to see Kirk with the starters.

All rivalries aside, one fan to another, you have my sympathies. We root for different teams, but I respect the idea of fandom and the love for one's team and I wouldn't wish this mess on anyone.

Its funny how coming out of college he was considered the opposite of Cam character wise and has turned into everything people feared Cam would be

I do. I wish it on Sk*ns fans. But this is still a nice sentiment and a nice thing to say.

Much as I relish their torment, you have to respect the (misplaced) loyalty. There are spots here on the bandwagon if they want them, but they just won't take them.

The only way we aren't drafting one of these flawed QBs in the first round next year is if Kirk looks like an All-Pro. This game tonight may be the most watched preseason game we've ever had.

Do you really believe they would cut him? Just like that?

To be honest, had they not done this, they would be facing another Trent Green situation. Had RG3 started the season and got benched a quarter of the way through and Cousins came in, had a winning record and put up comparable numbers to last season with fewer interceptions, he would have been a hot commodity as a free agent. Would not make sense to franchise him and I doubt he would have any loyalty and could easily bolt for Buffalo or the NY Jets who are in desperate need of QBs but have what looks to be elite defenses.

Trent Green has been on record for saying he would've re-signed back here if the ownership situation wasn't in flux. The Skins front office didn't even make him an offer because no one knew what was going on. But I see your point, Kirk has been pretty unsatisfied here and has mostly been quiet about it. He's not giving out any hometeam discounts if he has a great season. Good thing that he won't then.
