BC is all that and more, plus his father is a coach;) . PW is a true coverage safety plus he has good heigth and a long wingspan, understands the game. That would give us two starters on D and our D would be dominate for years to come. OG Taitusi Latui or Charles Spencer in 3. ILB Anthony Schlegel in 5th rd- 6'2" 245 lbs. and plays with mad intensity. QB Barrick Nealy or Paul Pinegar in 6. Tremendous athletes, just raw and needs development. Can sit behind bledsoe and romo.Had Pinegar and Fresno State won their bowl game this year he would have been the only QB ever to start and win 4 bowl games. Hung 40+ pts. on USC. OT Zach Streif in 7. Several year starter at RT tackle for Northwestern, huge man graduated in 3 yrs.

1-Bobby Carpenter - OLB- Ohio ST
2-Pat Watkins - FS - Florida ST
3-Taitusi Lutui/Charles Spencer - OG
5-Anthony Shlegel ILB Ohio ST
6-Barrick Nealy/Paul Pinegar - QB
7-Zach Strief - RT - Northwestern

Spencer will go hire. (Get it Spencer for Hire?) ;)
Don't know about picking a QB.
But thanks for not projecting a WR to be taken high.

That's just not gonna happen, IMO.

Round too fast

Ngata/Watson in 1
Carpenter/Howard/Lawson in 2
Smith at FS - Watkins will need a red shirt year to bulk up. Like Berry 0 - Will get blown up in NFL rookie year/camp.

Ngata probably not there @ 18
- Watson has no heart, disappeared in every Mich. game I watched
Carpenter won't make it out of rd 1
watkins won't get blown up - only bowing up in that secondary will be done by ROY

BOOK IT!

One of the OG's or OT's rated high will drop to the 3rd rd. This time last year Elton Brown from UVA was "best guard in draft" and "first rd lock" and he eventually fell to the 4th. With so many QUALITY underclassman declared alot of top talent will be pushed way down the board.

If we are looking at guards then Gilles is the man- he worked Watson over pretty good and showed suprisining quickness and speed for a monster guard.
Spencer- there has been some talk that he is slow to pick up new offensive systems- sort of another Gurode where upon he has the physical tools but mentally has some shortcomings.

I personally think Watkins could be a pro-bowler in the future. For a guy so tall, he has a knack for the ball. And within a couple of years, he'll be like 6'4 220 and a complete demolition ball back there.

With a guy like Roy Williams and Pat Watkins crucifying people in the secondary, and Carpenter/James/ destroying RB's coming out of the backfield, and Ware/Anderson killing QB's, our defense will put teams to bed early, and we can get back to the Super Bowl immediately.

I'll take those 1st 2.

Carpenter will be the heart and soul of some teams defense 3 years from now. The Cowboys don't have that right now.

I doubt if Watkins will be there in the 2nd but he's a FS with range and a nose for the ball.

Some people don't want to see Carpenter move to ILB, but I would. He has the mentality of an ILB and his aggressive nature will take over.

And if he blitzs up the gut, it's over.. Let me put it this way, I haven't seen many LB'rs here knife thru the line and stop someone short like Ken Norton used to do...That guy would be Carpenter.
