Bobby Carpenter is now an analyst?

IT shocked me to when I saw him...but he looks far better as a analyst than a football player so good for him for finding his niche. He never striked me as a guy who would have that type of career after football. I wasn't sure if he even truly loved football to even want to be a analyst.

I find it a bit difficult to take him seriously in anything regarding football.

Maybe it's a lot easier to talk about it than to actually perform, though.

Haven't yet heard his commentary -- I hope he excels at discussing it.

Always exceptions to the rule, but for the most part the worst players make the best commentators, analyst, coaches, etc.

A lot of the time the guys who are blessed with talent really aren't students of the game, because they don't really have to be.
