Carp's lack of PT has more to due with our depth at LB then his skills. He will be fine. Rememeber Bradie James, sure glad we didn't give up on him after 1/2 aseason.
I heard that Kevin Burnett stepped up in preseason and has kept it up

Carp had a brother that didnt play much as well...

Maybe we should put Carp at FB like every other LB!!!

Carpenter's got the dreaded P thing -- potential. He proved he was a blue-chip stud at Ohio (?).
HOWEVER, until he starts playing -- and because he was drafted so high -- he can be considered a bust for now.
The best player in the world cannot help you if he is injured or benched or in the developmental stage, which Carpenter clearly is.
Let's talk about the guys who are in the trenches and not in developmental limbo. Ahay-em!

Maybe while at OSU, Carpenter benefited from the Deion effect? Remember what Deion did for SUPER BOWL MVP Larry Brown? Maybe playing with AJ Hawk made him appear to be a better player than he is/was. It's a possibility.

That's BS. All having Deion on the other side did for Brown was get him picked on even more. The help he did get from Deion was we were able to roll our coverages to his side to help him out.

And the Superbowl MVP thing... I could of won superbowl MVP if a moron QB threw the ball directly to me 2 times. I might of even scored once.
