Dang, I thought maybe you were being facetious, but I looked it up and he really did have 9 sacks for Washington. Pretty impressive at his age. I wouldn’t hate having that in our rotation....plus the mentorship he could provide to the younger guys.We could use Miller's 9 sacks.
For the most part, I agree..... I also feel with just Von Miller's presence in the locker room, I sense a difference in Defense for the better. The respect he would get from fellow teammates..... . But again, that's just my opinion. No, they are progress stoppers at this point. Their limited play only takes away from a younger player for which they are trying to build a long term successful team.
Miller and / or Wagner will not put this team into the SB. Especially on a handful of plays a game. Let the young guys play and learn.
Parker brought in two linebacker asst. coaches of his choosing. I imagine he wants them to mentor the team’s linebackers. Not defer to a vet whose primary responsibility is playing linebacker keeping younger players off the field. And one entirely off the roster.Dang, I thought maybe you were being facetious, but I looked it up and he really did have 9 sacks for Washington. Pretty impressive at his age. There are others in front of them already to keep. So you would be looking at cutting 4 players.
Actually Bell is a safety, so go short at that position to keep a part time LB. No.
I still say Bell and Liufau are possible trade candidates for late round picks. And Schoonmaker.
Take your pick: Houston, Williams, Wheat; Liufau, Barron…who gets cut to make room for them?
