Neither corner was playing on the line. And the only way to not "let him go too early" is to not play the coverage correctly.

Adam, I'm almost always on board with what you have to say, but if the coverage is "designed" to have a huge hole like that, then I hope we don't ever use it again. He passed him off a bit too early, in my opinion. Hamlin didn't have a chance.

And that's why Wade said he made a bad call.

I've never seen us use that coverage that far out on the field. We usually use it near the goal line. And by the way, I've never liked that coverage and have said so many times.

Oh Adam always here with the glass half full attitude.

That's better than thinking the glass is full or empty when it's filled to 50 percent of its capacity. What you call it isn't as important as knowing how full or empty it really is.

Yup, coaches do it all the time. Just like with Roy Willy. They never blamed him...it was never his fault. Yet look where he is now.

I have to agree with you on that point.

Yep, it was even something that Wade says he has changed. He used to always take responsibility for things that went wrong. This year, he's supposedly holding the players accountable.

Wade is known for taking responsibility for player mistakes.

I think that play was at least partially Jenkins' fault.

Great stuff.

Special Teams...I realize there was the offseason practice facility fiasco but I have yet to see anything (And I do mean anything) that resembles an improved special teams lot...They don't seem to be anymore disciplined, anymore physical or consistent...Still stupid penalties and still getting beaten defending against run backs...I'm trying to think if there's an area of special teams that even remotely looks improved (Outside of McBriar being back from injury).

Ratliff...Hands down, my favorite Cowboy player

Romo looked sharp with only one real telegraphed pass (Almost a pick)...And I'm quickly beginning to accept that RW will not be a saviour (And he will have cost too much when it's all said & done)

I still see a soft defense however

Most kickoff coverage teams will look awful when the guy in position to make the tackle around the 25 gets blatantly blocked in the back, allowing the returner to run by him. Sensabaugh probably was frustrated that the refs somehow missed that.

You know what I've noticed. You make lots of excuses for the Cowboys. :laugh2: Good teams, get it done.

Now Cowboys, Gitt'er Done!

Except it wasn't his fault. Jenkins played the coverage correctly.

I'm not sure about that Adam. It looked to me like he passed him off about 5 yards to early. I don't know the defensive call exactly but to my eyes I was thinking what is he doing? There was no one in front of or behind him to give him a reason to release the wr. Just my uneducated opinion tho.

Maybe Hamlin was late on the read.

If there were only 2 receivers in that area....one being the TE cutting towards the sidelines that pulled Jenkins ....

Wasnt it hamlins job to have that deep zone?

I cant totally recall the play.....but there wasnt I dont think anyone from the titans running in the middle of the field.

So if both the TE and WR were on that side.....why was Hamlin so late on that play?

Just asking.

Personally....I thought Jenkins should of stayed longer with the WR.....just because it looked like the TE was well covered by the LB and he didnt need support that early.
