27 reps of 225
36" vert
10'2" long-jump
4.12 short-shuttle
6.94 3-cone drill

The Skinny One of the top shut-down corners in this draft, is fluid in his back-pedal and has the burst to close, plugging his bench, long-jump and vertical measurements in Pat Kirwans strength and explosion formula, Houston grades a 73.02, anything above a 70 is considered superb elite, in 3 games against the likes of Dwayne Jarrett, Dwayne Bowe and Robert Meachem, Houston allowed only 14 receptions, 168 yards and 1 TD, and only allowd 2 100 yard receivers in 14 games
=================================
53. Eastern Carolina WR Aundrae Allison...6' 198

Combine measurements:

4.39 40
1.43 10-yard dash
2.46 20-yard dash
37" vert
10'7" long-jump
*4.25 short-shuttle
6.81 3-cone drill

*Pro-Day measurements

The Skinny A vertical and YAC threat, is great at getting seperation from DBs, a smooth athlete who will work across the middle and in traffic, looked comfortable fielding punts in Senior Bowl workouts so potentially adds another dimension as a PR, according to maxnfldraft's rating system, courtesy of theogt, Allison grades out as the 5th most explosive player in this draft, 2nd among WRs behind one Calvin Johnson
=================================
87. Brown LB Zak DeOssie...6'5" 250

Combine measurements:

4.58 40
6.89 3-cone
1.56 10-yard dash
2.66 20-yard dash
26 reps of 225
34 1/2" vertical
10'2" broad-jump
*4.03 short-shuttle

*Pro-Day measurement

The Skinny Versatile LB capable of playing ILB and OLB in a 3-4, plugging his bench, vertical and long-jump #s into Pat Kirwan's strength and explosion formula, DeOssie grades out as 70.52, maxnfldraft's rating system gives him a 42.67 grade, which ranks him 45 out of the 245 draft prospects who participated in the 10-yard, long-jump, and vertical drills at the Combine, DeOssie also possesses the added dimension of being a capable long-snapper, has NFL bloodlines as father Steve played for the Cowboys
=================================
118. Northern Illinois OT Doug Free...6'6" 324

Combine measurements:

5.19 40
1.78 10-yard dash
2.96 20-yard dash
22 reps of 225
30" vertical
9'3" long-jump
4.53 short-shuttle
7.38 3-cone drill

The Skinny Massive OT who comes from the same school that produced Ryan Diem, Indianapolis' standout RT, and Free is a better prospect than Diem was, theogt ranks him as the 2nd most explosive OT in this class according to the maxnfldraft explosion formula, plugging his vertical, long-jump and bench press #s in the Kirwan formula, Free grades a 61.3, which is still very good for a 324lb man, he's gonna improve on his bench once he gets into the NFL anyways which is what's holding his strength and explosion grade from being much higher
=================================
149. Florida State RB Lorenzo Booker...5'11" 191

Combine Measurements:

4.46 40
1.46 10-yard dash
2.58 20-yard dash
26 reps of 225
35 1/2" vertical
10'1" long-jump
*4.37 short-shuttle
7.03 3-cone

*Pro-Day measurements

The Skinny Quick, elusive back who is also an excellent receiver, gives good effort as a blocker, has added value as a kick-returner, is similar to former FSU teammate Leon Washington, an underwhelming back in college who was a pleasant suprise for the Jets last year, so there's a chance that Florida State's anemic offense was holding Booker back as well
=================================
180. Nevada QB Jeff Rowe...6'5" 226

Combine measurements:

4.91 40
1.65 10-yard dash
2.84 20-yard dash
4.15 short-shuttle
6.72 3-cone
*31 1/2" vertical

The Skinny Underrated QB who is a good athlete w/ a strong arm, throws a catchable football, a developmental type QB who needs to learn how to play in a Pro-style offense
=================================
#185. Virginia Tech SS Aaron Rouse...6'4" 223

Combine measurements:

4.58 40, 4.52 40 at Pro-Day

16 reps of 225
35" vertical
*10'1" long-jump
4.19 short-shuttle
6.81 3-cone drill

*Pro-day measurements

The Skinny Huge, athletic SS, has excellent special teams potential, is raw as he switched between OLB and SS in college, but his potential is tremendous
=================================
193. Notre Dame OG Dan Santucci...6'4" 301

Combine measurements:

5.13 40
1.71 10-yard dash
2.93 20-yard dash
23 reps of 225
29" vert
8'6" long-jump
4.74 short-shuttle
7.47 3-cone drill

The Skinny typical Notre Dame Olineman: mean, tough and is a hard-worker, is a good athlete who is an effective run and pass-blocker, has the potential to play C as well
================================
215. Nortwestern Oklahoma State NT LaRon Harris...6'3" 350

Measurements:

1.74 10-yard dash
33 reps of 225

The Skinny Humongous NT who showcased his athleticsm by doing a back-flip after his drills, was recruited by Tennessee and started 4 games in '03
=================================
218. Hawaii FB Nate Ilaoa...5'9" 245

Combine measurements:

4.77 40
1.63 10-yard dash
2.75 20-yard dash
25 reps of 225
30" vertical
8'7" long-jump
4.42 short-shuttle
7.10 3-cone

The Skinny HB who started his UH career as a WR, had over 1,000 yards both as a runner and receiver for his career, averaging 7.5 yards a carry and 10.8 yards a reception his final 2 years at HB, his size and speed better projects him to FB in the pros, where his rushing and receiving skills can make him a dangerous weapon there

You know Bob I really like that mock. I think those players have a realistic shot of being there and they fill needs on this team.

No matter who's mock it is-- I think there are five critical components needed:

1. A corner taken early.
2. A wr taken early.
3. A nt taken at some point.
4. A ot taken at some point.
5. An offensive lineman that can play center.

Waiting until the 6th round for a QB worries me.

Rowe has the potential to be a pretty good QB, at least a very good backup

he just needs to learn how to pass out of a Pro-style offense

thanks, I may have Free a round too low, but I would just move him up to the 3rd and have us draft Penn State OLB Tim Shaw in the 4th

what's great about DeOssie is that he can play either ILB or OLB, so that would give us 2 versatile LBs, him and Carp, so if Carp is better suited outside, then we have a capable ILB in DeOssie, and viceversa
