Body Catching

I've been tired for it for a while. It's great if you're Lance Alworth, but there was only one of them.

2 have turned into ints!
But Jones boys think it is okay lol, that's why they resigned him.
He is here until Jones boys get
Tired of him.
They are the GM's and true hc's.
Garrett is just asst he.

A bigger issue is why so many targets to dez? ?
Why not beasly, witten, Butler,
Brown.

Was it a body catch? I thought it was more alligator-arming it reaching back for a bad-but-catcahble ball.

Either way, yes, I'm tired of seeing our WRs unable to make plays when we need them to.

Anyone else tired of watching Williams jump to body catch when it is completely unnecessary? Anyone still think its not a big issue?
He had gotten better about hands catching but has reverted back to body catching.

One thing I noticed is that he should not be used too close to the line. He is better when he has more time to see the ball.

TWill should be a #3 receiving option but Witten and Dez are limited which causes them to need more from TWill.

I was against bringing back TWill and Butler this past off-season. They are both very limited and bring nothing to the offense. Dallas could have signed one FA who is better than both of those two combined.

Going into the season, I thought our receiving core would be satisfactory enough to get through the season. Boy, was I wrong. We need two new WR's and an athletic TE badly. But, Dallas is so thin, they also need some LB's, safeties and some lineman on both sides.

I am not sure who the weakest group is now.....LB's or WR's........

Michael Irvin believes body catching is the proper way to catch the ball. But he's Michael Irvin.

T-Gator lol

This WR group is glued together with love & the past.. Bill Beli would have Dez at number 3 period!!!!

Unless the coaching staff is changed nothing will change this offseason with any WR's folks.

The unnecessary jumping is bad technique to cover for bad hands. You see it all the time in high school and college. At this point, he isn't going to change the way he plays.
exactly, why would he change when he has been rewarded for his poor technique?

Hand catch, body catch, over the back shoulder pad catch, I don't care. Just make a play and stop tipping the ball to the other team.

The offense calls for continuity in the WR Corp because the routes are so nuanced. Hence why Terrance is back. That and a lot of blocking falls upon them. Need to change the routes that are called to something simpler and shorter.

Irvin would body catch it by folding his body around the ball when he was in traffic going over the middle. I agree there is a time and a place for it. Single coverage outside breaking stride is not that time nor place.

WR is a huge need this offseason
And we might get a good pick but I'd think LB is also a BIG need.

Calvin Ridley WR Alabama..
James Washington WR Ok St.
OR
Roquan Smith LB Georgia.

Then again, I'm pretty sure you can get Josh Gordon for cheap. I'd think Joshes best bet is going to the Pats for a long career. Here, he'd just get with Gregory and that's that.

T Will is one of the least of our problems IMO. Or I should say his catching technique is on a very long list of other issues this team has.
