Boise State RB Ashton Jeanty wants the DallasCowboys to draft him

Keep going for the shiny toys just to stay average. Who needs trenches anyways…….
They have drafted trenches 3 years in a row.

Guyton, Mazi, Smith.

If somebody like Banks or Will Campbell doesnt fall you are reaching for OL.

I doubt Graham or Grant will be there.

Jeanty will be BPA. Stick to your board. It works for Philly and Baltimore

Seven of them are Mazi or worse. Dallas needs a legit DT. I’m fine with people liking Jeanty, he will be good but Dallas has bigger needs first.
False. No way 7 of the top 10 DT in this draft are Mazi or worse. He is a total bust. He is out of the NFL if he was not a 1st rd pick.

There's 0 suspense for this draft, everyone and their cousin knows that it will be Jeanty. And yes he will make it, other teams know you don't draft him high unless their board is wiped of elite prospects.

Dallas drafted trenches, but they missed, so they have to go and redraft those positions. I agree, in order to get a legit DT or LT they need to get one at 12 or with a small trade back. Two things can be true at once tho, and this is about getting the best talent you can find so Jeanty (even Warren) should be drafted if they're available.

The way Jerry/Stephen/McClay builds a team there's always going to be holes, so they should try to find playmakers/difference makers/impact players with those premium picks.

Anyone who thinks they can beat out Rico Dowdle has an arrogance that offends me.

Jeanty is maybe the best player in Boise State history so...

Kellen Moore was possibly the best QB in Boise State history and he was a Cowboy.

LVE and Cedric Wilson were drafted by the Cowboys. It's a pipeline,so Jeanty has a lot working in his favor. Jerry said he wanted ppl who wants to be here, well Ashton answered the call.

For whatever reason, the front office has not been good at drafting defensive tackles especially the last few years. Unfortunately Mazi looks like a bust, actually the whole 2023 looks like a bust since Overshown can’t stay healthy.

It was a terrible draft class.

Sure it is. Jerry is all about generating the revenue. Why do you think they brought Zeke back?
I hope it wasn’t to sell jerseys…..because whatever jerseys they were selling ended up on the clearance rack a short time after. I don’t see too many lists of the highest selling jerseys featuring Zeke. I bet more people bought Aubrey jersey.

If i'm not mistaken Tyrone Crawford and Orlando Scandrick as well. Not a bad history of talent for this team.

Don’t forget Crawford, Scandrick and Tank!

He was the highest selling jersey early in his career, pretty sure fans bought that 15 jersey before the season started

Well ask yourself this...how many #15 jerseys have you seen walking around? Because I haven't seen many if any. Only time I saw them were on the clearance rack at the Star.

Does he make it to 12? If so, will the Cowboys pull the trigger or trade down?

I can see advantages to draft and to pass on Jeanty. More than anything, I'm anxious to see how is still there and what kind of trade (if any) the Cowboys get.
I don't think he makes it to 12. I can see a team like the Bengals trading up to 11 to pick him off. If any teams wants him, they're going to know not to let him reach 12.

Merchandise sales are a big source of revenue
LOL....i'm not denying that. What i'm saying is Zeke wasn't brought back to sell #15 jerseys. He was brought back because your owner thought he was still good...even though he must've forgot he cut him a season ago because he wasn't good anymore.

How far would you want them to trade back??? You know me i'm a BIG fan of trading back, we go cheap in free agency and lose guys on this roster like last year, we need to replace them via the draft if we can.
There is no wrong or right answer. They can stay where they are or they can trade back several spots or trade back 8 to 10 spots. They need to change their ways in free agency this year. It's going to be interesting. I'm glad that Parsons is putting pressure on them to get him signed and to sign free agents.
