I see. But I disagree from what I've seen so far of Barber, me no likey.

I hope that changes, however.

Replay the game after the lost fumble and see how hard he ran. He was hitting the hole, breaking tackles and making people miss.

He is also the best receiver we have at RB.

I saw Thomas and thought Eddie George. He was turning 8 yard runs into 3 yard runs, and TDs and to 15 yarders. If we need 3 yards I think Polite can do it.

We'll see. It's still being sorted out, I'm sure. Interesting scenario though.

Unless our secondary starts to show they can stop a QB from completing every damn pass he throws this team will not be going to the playoffs. I know it's only preseason, but both Warner and Hasselbeck looked like All Pros against our 1st team defense.

Ware looks good and I think this team is better suited to play the 4-3 than the 3-4. Put Ware on one side, Ellis on the other, Fergy & Glover clogging up the middle and Canty coming in to provide relief for Ellis and Ware and I think we have an awesome front 4.

Bledsoe will not make it through the entire season with the way our right side protects. Romo will make his NFL starting debut at some point this season and I think he will be there to stay once he does. He just looks more poised and doesn't look as confused when he's in there. I would love to see Parcells give him a shot against starting defenses to see exactly what we have. We already know what we have in Bledsoe and I think it's becoming very apparent what we don't have in Henson. Start Romo and lets see what he can do.

1. We are going to keep a lot of bubble players that play special teams over more experienced players.

In: Crowder, Copper, Barber and Thompson

Out: Morgan and Thomas

2. Fear of losing his big players on waivers to make the practice squad again spells doom for a vets.

In: Ratliff and Johnson

Out: Carson

3. Parcells will again flip his back up QBs. He's seen some good and enough bad out of both of them to make having a 16 game #2 impossible.

4. Ferguson's ankle and conditioning will plague us the entire season and he will be a non-factor in our defense. Because of this we will rely on the versatility of our young guys to play multiple spots. Ware DE/OLB, Canty, Spears, and Ratliff DE/DT.

5. We will have a top 15 offense, a top 10 defense, and be top 5 in combined special teams.

6. Youth will not carry the day to a deep playoff run, but we will show improvement in a lot of areas and be in every game we play. Another solid draft and offseason will put us in position in 2006.
high ankle sprain....reinjured as soon as he hit the field....I wouldn't be surprised if he didn't play much all season...high ankle sprains are season enders as far as any effective play...that's why I disagree about Carson. I think Ferguson's situation is the only reason we keep Carson.

to be top 5 in combined special teams, we're going to have to be the absolute best in coverage, and even then I don't see it...we absolutely suck in the return game. Rashard Lee may have been a little dense, but that sucker knew how to run back a KO...we have no one doing anything. Punt returns are even worse. Our return game is sooooo bad, BP is talking about using Aaron Glenn back there....what? are you kidding me, BP.

hmmmm....should have never cut Swinson, imo...he'd still be the #4 WR and the KO and PUnt returner.
