In a world of the bland, the predictable and the proletariet, you can always count on Gimme to make a bold prediction about the Cowboys.

This coming season:

1. The Cowboys grow tired of Jenkins who keeps on pouting and ailing. But we keep him as insurance.
2. As reported in SI website, Colt McCoy's days are numbered in Cleveland as the Wheedon era begins. Jerra can never resist a homestate boy and brings him in for a look as McGoo fails to impress again.
3. Disaster in New York on opening day. Eli Manning smells blood, as our secondary gets used to play with each other and has its growing pains. It rebounds after that game and it solidifies and catches fire with Clairborne and Carr et. al. The second meeting will be a different story.
4. As Austin tries to recover, Romo finds a comfort zone with Dez. Dez catches fire and elevates his game. But Dez cant do it alone. The name Laurent continues to haunt us.
5. The defensive line shows a same ol' same ol' style. Ware does the heavy lifting and keeps it credible. The fans love Hatcher and Ratliff, but outside of Dallas, they are considered purely pedestrian. When things seem darkest, the name Victor Butler will bring smiles to the faces of Cowboy fans.
6. Jerra announces a blockbuster deal before camp ends, giving the D line some muscle.
7. Murray shows why he's 1st string. Felix won't elevate the run game, however.
8. Fans and media will be buzzing how Jerra is increasingly staying out of Jason Garrett's way. A good thing.
9. The kicking game will be the team's weakest link. Our defense will have to make up for the short fields, missed FGs.
10. Despite the growing pains and lack of depth: 10-6, we go deeper into the playoffs. jerra is smilin'!

Do you agree? If so, nod your pointy heads. If you don't agree, keep it to yourself. :)

The Cowboys will have a top 5 defense and offense.

Top 5 offense? Most assuredly, even with our lack of depth and average O-line!

Most sounds pretty accurate lol. But im thinking more of like 8-8 but 10-6 at best. Thats with almost everything going good and high hopes which i dont have.

Looks pretty good.

I would've liked you to mention:
Garrett's playcalling and maturation as a coach
Our continued Redzone troubles
And our 5 rushing touchdowns all last year

I agree with most of these, but I wonder if that means they're not bold! Only #9 struck me as something that would be a surprise, at least on the FG front.

You have reason to be sheptical. But I look at it this way:
Our improved secondary will win two more games this year.
10-6.

Red zone problems and poor ushing TD rate last year: Romo, Witten, Phillips and Murray will address that.
Garrett's maturation and improve play calling are givens. (I am a HUGE fan of JG.):)

Don't see a trade to beef up Defense.
OL will be the weakest link.
7-9 to 8-8. tougher schedule this year.

Next year the 'Boys make their run.

Sounds like exactly what im thinking. Not gonna get it together or fix enough problems to make a good run this year. Could possibly make the playoffs if giants and eagles dont do as good as they should this season.

But i doubt it i think they both will still have our number.

Cowboys are gonna roll to a 19-0 season

Could very easily happen.! we just need every team were supposed to play to forfeit. Except the browns lol

Oddly enough, no one is slamming me for No. 2. Where are the disbelievers, huh? Disbelieve but it will probably happen. Jerra loves "local" boys.

I think the Cowboys are capable of winning the NFC East and making a run in the playoffs. Anything less than a tip to the NFC Championship game will be a disappointment.

I do not agree with your number nine at all.
I thought Bailey was pretty good last season.

Probably.

Too small, too frail, cant play.

3. Disaster in New York on opening day. Eli Manning smells blood, as our secondary gets used to play with each other and has its growing pains. It rebounds after that game and it solidifies and catches fire with Clairborne and Carr et. al. The second meeting will be a different story.

Yep there will be growing pains.

4. As Austin tries to recover, Romo finds a comfort zone with Dez. Dez catches fire and elevates his game. But Dez cant do it alone. The name Laurent continues to haunt us.

Third receiver will be on the roster game two regular season.

Wouldnt suprise me.

6. Jerra announces a blockbuster deal before camp ends, giving the D line some muscle.

Wont happen.

7. Murray shows why he's 1st string. Felix won't elevate the run game, however.

I'll give you this one.

8. Fans and media will be buzzing how Jerra is increasingly staying out of Jason Garrett's way. A good thing.

Not a chance.

9. The kicking game will be the team's weakest link. Our defense will have to make up for the short fields, missed FGs.

Punter isnt on the roster yet, Bailey is fine.

10. Despite the growing pains and lack of depth: 10-6, we go deeper into the playoffs. jerra is smilin'!

Dont see it.

I'll give you six out of ten.
