Bones Fassel

[Verdict]

I don’t know what to think about having him as a special teams coach. Part of me thinks he is a train wreck in the making. Part of me is pleased that we have the stones to call risky plays and go get the prize.

I think my main concern is that Bones doesn’t seem to properly evaluate risk vs reward at times.

theres nothing wrong with Fassal our special teams before he got here was so bad it made me throw my potted meat out the window

hes aggressive he just needs MM to tell him sometimes hey dont send a punt block we just got a stop on 3rd and 8 and punt block could result in roughing the kicker because if you dont he'll send the whole house

They can’t cover, they can’t return, they come after every punt yet never block one, He is terrible.

Scariest thing is MM gave him the go ahead to do his risk plays if he saw the right look. If MM isn't going to call plays atleast give them the ok before proceeding rather than doing nothing at all. Someone like Bones needs to be controlled (and fired imo from what we've seen so far)

thats my biggest issue

the defense getting a stop on 3rd and 5 i dont need Fassal trying to send the house youre going to hit the Punter

back everyone off a yard or two and let them punt it
