I was ambivalent before the season started.
I paid attention to training camp news here and there, but really didn't have the same feeling that I usually have before the season.
I thought we were going to be bad. I thought we could claw and scratch to 8-8 but anything better than that was just fantasy.
This team has exceeded my expectations by a large margin. I think we are still a couple of solid defensive drafts away from winning it all, but it does look promising.
So, whatever we accomplish beyond this is just gravy. We have double digit wins. We have the rushing champ. We have a solid young line.
We have to look for a QB soon, but Tony can play a few more years at a high level with this line and a legit rushing game.
Anything can happen if we make the playoffs, but here on out is just bonus for me.
