Booker interview

Booker is a great young man. Heard a very interesting interview with him last week on Dallas radio. He graduated from Alabama in 3 years, loves Lego (even stays up late until he finishes a set)

I’m sure it may take a little time to adjust to the NFL but I expect him to be a long term anchor at RG.

Sounds like my son with that Lego stuff uhh

Any info on how he is doing? Any first team reps? I haven't heard anything.

My favorite part was when he said he started preparing for the nfl at age9. Now.... most of the time you could laugh that comment off, but he was serious. He had a private trainer at age 9, moved to schools that would better prepare him.... it was pretty impressive.

I just realized, Ive not heard much about his progress during camp.
That is always a positive when you don't hear about the lineman you do realize that right you're the one area on the team that when it's quiet it's usually good.... I mean nobody needs to go out on a limb and say we found the next Zach Martin or Larry Allen but I believe this kid is going to be ready game one to be the next Tyler Smith who didn't take very long to adjust to the NFL....

For me I completely trust the middle of that line it's going to be our strong point, completely owning the center, which is nice for the quarterback with a pocket but also inside run short yardage hitting those delayed draws etc

I mean you need some holes in the middle It's the passing protection that I'm worried about more with the question marks at tackle, injuries now, there already were question marks before they got injured, so they got on a dead scramble to be talking about the tackles because right now you're not hearing about any of the interior line and I find that a good thing..

Definitely some truth to that. Mazi and Guyton getting constant media buzz because everyone looking to take away that bust tag. The good ones, at least on the line, just take care of business and get back in the huddle. I don't worry much about this interior line, it's the tackles that make me lose sleep.
