If we're afraid of losing someone we really want (and probably would have taken at No. 55), I'll bet we trade No. 67 and No. 122 or later to move up again.

Have you noticed that the Patriots and Eagles don't have a lot of WOW drafts, either?

once steve smith was gone the cowboys didn't like what was left. Now they get a 3rd and a very high 4th which gives them the pick of the litter from what is left from day 1. good moves.

What is boils down to is that for next year's Browns 1st round pick, we've given up a 2nd and gone from a 5th to a 4th.

Yeah, it's a REAL bad day. [/sarcasm off]

I see we are on the same page. The big picture is really nice if people would themselves see it.

58 pics into the draft now. Only 58 picks complainers. Even if had stayed at 22 and 53 we would have only taken 2 players. Would that have been so much more interesting??? I'll take Cleveland's 1st rounder and Spencer and already call this a decent day. We still have many picks left to go.

Starting to struggle a little. Did not get much sleep and this has been a long draft (TIME WISE):laugh2:

That could be great depending on who we get.

This year we don't need to fill many holes. Just backup roles. This has been a smart draft. Maybe we could have traded up and got a Jarrett or Smith and made everyone happy but we might lose out on getting a reserve we need even more.

WR is a small need for this team. Really it's a need we can fill next year.

Don't try and reason, something tells me he would not be happy no matter what we did

I have loved this draft. Even if we only have one player at this point.

The only thing I am annoyed about is how much time I have wasted so eagerly awaiting every team's pick. The day completely flew by on me.

I do NOT see that happening. The value of a top 10 or maybe a top 5 pick will be much more this time next year.

seriously.

I've in my room since 9 AM Arizona time watching the draft and hitting the refresh button on here. I think I need some sunlight.

Left my dorm room once to get something to eat. Pretty much the only moving I've done all day. Tried doing homework, got distracted, and gave up.

And now I am waiting eagerly for this damn 3rd round pick. GAH. I'm doing this a little differently next year.

I don't know. At this stage, I'm dividing today into two parts: A, in which we made a fantastic, forward-thinking deal and got our player and B, in which we got cute and traded back out of a good position for a deeper practice squad.

Overall, I still like today but I don't yet like this second (third?) move.

I agree, very booring.

I'm not saying bad, I definately like the big picture, and I like Spencer, but another Lb is a little boring. I think it all went downhill after the first trade, wouldve liked to stay at 35 and take Jarrett and keep the third and fifth.

Just cause the big picture makes sense, it's certainly natural to be dissapointed in dealing with the sacrifice this year after putting so much energy into this great once a year holiday. Next year will be sweet, but today is a let down to me.

Did someone here actually expect fireworks?

The fireworks will be next year. We will have the the pick we want for the player we want most in the entire draft or we will have the ammo to move up and get that person.

Just thinking about McFadden makes me very happy. A lot of football to be played between now and the next draft, but it looks awfully promising for a WOW draft as they say.

I just don't get it. At 9:25 and pick 83 on the clock right, if we had not traded at all we would have had two picks in the books. Now we have two picks in the books, and a likely top 10 if not top 5 pick for next year. With those two picks we improved the D and got a OT people have been wanting all off season. Boring? If improving your team is boring than yes it was. I LOVED IT!!!
