Looking at our cap hell. FA means nothing for the Cowboys.
The up and rising teams keep getting better and the Cowboys just keep making the same old mistakes.

This time next year JJ would have just announced our new head coach.

We spent alot last year in free agency and look where it got us. Rather focus on the draft

FA doesnt even start until Tuesday at 4pm so I imagine it would be a boring day.

I truly am getting sick of these threads where it's getting to the point where I don't even know if I wanna come on here anymore. I signed up on this forum to discuss Cowboys football with fellow fans, but this forum has truly turned into just a joke of a forum. It's not me being a homer or anything either, I just want to discuss Cowboys football rationally and you simply can't do that anymore here.

Yeah, I tend to follow this logic. Also, the last thing we need to do right now is take on more huge contracts. Maybe take on a few mid-tier FA's, and build through the draft.

Ironically with all of the restructuring today, it looks like Dallas could be preparing for a Free Agent move.

How do you figure? Unless I'm mistaken, we're still in no position to make much of a splash.

Agree. Same users posting the same negative things over and over.

This plus other incompetent areas is what will make us a mediocre team again next year and the next and so on. Sorry but the truth hurts. We are what we are.

Exactly. I mean we have a ton of money to spend in free agency and anyone who says we don't is wrong! Wait nevermind we don't

I don't mind Dallas spending a lot if the results mean productive players.

I feel that Grubbs or Nicks would have been a better approach than signing Bernadeau and Livings as well as finding a productive center (which there were plenty of them). If the money was used on that approach I would not have any issues right now because both were solid this past season.

I have mixed emotions about Carr. Dallas needed a corner but a pass rusher was more important. However, to my knowledge there were no dominant pass rushers out there and they overspent on Carr.

Right now there are a couple of olinemen that I would love for them to sign but Dallas does not have the cap room. Therefore, draft is the focus.

Where did I ever say we have money to spend in free agency? I'm talking about the OP predicting we're gonna be 8-8 before we've even hit free agency or the draft yet. Who the hell predicts next year's record before even free agency?

Then what'd you mean?

I am not thrilled where this team is either....but who were the big FA's that Baltimore signed last year? 52 guys need to come together with the coaching staff.
