just came back from visiting for 4 days

great, great city, thinking about making a move there in about a year

Boston was always one of my favorite cities to visit... great place...

I wouldn't live there as it is too cold, but they have a rich history, great food and a great namesake band...

Everyone should visit...

it was definitely cold, it stayed around 9-10 degrees, but for me it was bearable

but dude, so many chicks, alot of really beautiful ones, maybe because there are 6 colleges there:

UMass, Boston College, Boston U, Harvard, MIT and a community college, we went to this restaurant on the 1st night and I swear, 30 college chicks ended up eating there, too bad my family was there too :(

Boston is a great city, as long as you are white. Or at least white enough to not stand out. I will never again go there unless I am forced to by work. All of Mass. can burn for all I care. Also, **** the patriots and the sox

I love boston, it is one of my favorite places.

Trips to fenway and cape cod are some of my greatest memories.

But you are right, I am a white guy, but it is very noticeable how white that area is, especially the sporting events!!!

I have been to fenway a whole bunch of times and I can honestly say the only minorities I have ever seen there were selling beer and peanuts. Its weird if not uncomfortable.

Love the city though. Fenway is amazing.

I lived there for about 2.5 years when I was doing my graduate work. My brother still lives there and loves it. It is a rich in history and great college town. There are more than 6 colleges (BC, BU, Northeastern, Harvard, MIt, Babson, Brandeis, Bunker Hill commuity college, etc.) not to mention some of the surrounding cities like Salem State College and Farmingham State. Yes it is cold especially this time of the year and they are fanatical about their sports team. Driving is quite an adventure and much different from othere big cities that driven in.

The thing I noticed when I was old enough to drive and made my first trip their with friends, was all the one way street.

and if you get a few blocks in the wrong direction from fenway, look out.

I did notice how white it was up there

except for the movie theatre on the weekend, it was like the hub, all races inter-mixed

but man, there were alot of beautiful women living there, one of my co-workers said one of the particular races who struck my fancy were Cape Verde women, I mean I almost broke my neck trying to catch the full glimpse of these chicks

Oh dude I forgot to ask.

Did you have any trouble Paahhking your Caaaahh?

It would have been ok if I had merely looked "out of place" amongst all the white irish-catholics up there, but that was not the case. Every night we went out we were harrassed repeatedly by morons and had racial slurs thrown at us, both casually and angrily. Honestly, it was the casual ones we overheard that were more disturbing. At least drunken irish idiots have alcohol as an excuse. Seriously, **** Boston, **** its residents. I hope a meteor hits it and lands on Tom Brady, taking the rest of the town with it. But it probably won't happen (Papi will eat it before it gets close)
