Best backup OG we got is Joe Berger; our best backup OT appears to be Doug Free. I don't like Proctor as Gurode's backup but we got nobody else. Have real concerns that Marten could become a legit OG but OT sure isn't his strength. Also, this is McQuistan's 4th year so he needs show more then he has so far. The problem in all 3 cases is we've got no legit replacement for any of them. Not impressed with the other 3 OL we signed.
Hoping Cowboys keep careful eye on the waiver wire during the next few weeks; there's bound to be a few OL players who get cut who would be better then what we have as backups--particularly behind Gurode.
This is his third year and lets remember he was a 7th round draft pick.sago1;2186450 said:Also, this is McQuistan's 4th year so he needs show more then he has so far.
