The Cowboys lose nothing, they're right back where they were this year next year but looking a bigger tag in the face but they will have seen Prescott with this HC in this new system. They only lose then if they decide to let him walk and do not replace him with another at the same level he's attained.
Prescott losses nothing unless he's injured. He's got the same O around him with, assumed, a better coaching staff and another weapon added. He bet on himself in 2019 and 2020 and can get at least Cousins money with another team but whatever the deal the Cowboys offered will get upped.
I actually think it's the reverse, both sides win if no deal is done. If I am the GM, I want a look at this QB with this HC. And next year could be better for FA QB's, Dalton is sure banking on that.
I'll tell you who loses, we do. We'll have to go through this BS all over again next off season and everything Dak Prescott got old quickly.
Yep. And what I see is another Romo thing. Not comparing the 2 as far as skills, just fan opinions.
Dak will get paid for 4 years. Either before this year or before next year or maybe after the second tag.
Then it’s gonna be that he is over paid, no matter how much he does or doesn’t get paid.
Then it’s that he is improving and a top 10 QB or he blows it in big games. Can’t get it done in big games, no matter how many come back games he wins. What is considered a big game. Only playoffs.. Lol.
We were both on the old boards and read it and been through it with the Romo saga. Old boards had its own sub forum for it. Wouldn’t be surprised if the mods or admin eventually go ahead and do one here. Maybe it would be easier for them. Or they have to continue to move or join threads because members still post the threads in the wrong section.
I see this playing out the same way for a very long time. Guessing if we had boards like this in the older days it would be the same no matter who the QB was.. O well, I still enjoy it either way.
