W-L is the bottom-line stat, but since 2008, there have been 43 teams that finished the season ranked among the top 12 in pass rating differential, turnover differential, and points-per-drive differential. All 43 teams made the playoffs or won at least 10 games.

turnover differential + points-per-drive differential are pretty obviously going to correlate to a high chance of winning and of course, playoff appearances. No offense, but to me, this is almost like saying that the teams with the highest point differential almost always make the playoffs. Pretty obvious correlation.

So basically the SF and Houston games screwed up both TO differential, points per drive, and redzone points per possession.

No offense taken.

The idea isn't to reveal any surprising truths about the three stats, it's to track them throughout the Cowboys' season.

Pass rating differential has a higher correlation to wins than turnover differential, btw.
