I was gonna wait till after week 6 to do this, but screw that. We all know it's still early.

W-L is the bottom-line stat, but since 2008, there have been 43 teams that finished the season ranked among the top 12 in pass rating differential, turnover differential, and points-per-drive differential. All 43 teams made the playoffs or won at least 10 games.

2013 Sea Phi SF KC Car NE
2012 GB Sea SF Atl Was NE Hou Cin Bal Chi
2011 GB NE Hou SF Det Bal Atl
2010 GB NE Pit Bal Chi Atl Phi TB
2009 GB NO SD Bal Min Phi NE
2008 Bal Ind SD NYG Ten

The Cowboy's current rankings after four games:
15th in pass rating differential (Off 10th Def 20th)
13th in turnover differential (Off 20th, Def 4th)
4th in points-per-drive differential (Off 2nd, Def 11th)

Final top 2's from 2013 in these three categories...
pass rating differential (1 Sea, 2 Den)
turnover differential (1 Sea, 2 KC)
points-per-drive differential (1 Den, 2 Sea)

Nice stuff. Can you give us the other 11 teams for 2014? Or link to that info is good too.

Im guessing that game 1 really hurt both pass rating differential and turnover differential.

And I think that romos play in that game can be written off as an anomaly.

And it was really just the first half of that game.

2nd half vs. 49ers
QB Rating: Romo 96.6 Kaepernick 62.1
Turnovers: Dal 0 SF 0
Points: Dal 14 SF 0

So if we throw out that first half - plenty of reason for optimism

A slow start had to be overcome due to the nature of injuries in this year's training camp.

Nice points to be monitoring now, as always...Percy.

Oh, I thought this was going to be the hip measurements of our offensive line.
