Squirrel head stew oh what is a country boy to do...

Never heard of that.

I used to hunt squirrel on my parent's property. I used to bring them home to my stepfather. He grew up farming and hunting. He used to let it sit in salt water in the fridge for a bit before he cooked it up.

My grandmother had a recipe for cooking up 'possums. Of course, she grew up in the great depression.

And folks eat a lot nastier things (to my mind) than squirrel.

I'm aware. I grew up with a guy who would find dead deer on the road, check to see if the nose was warm, and would slaughter the deer and put it in the freezer.

There's no way I'm eating a coyote. But I will shoot them all day, every day.

Unless, of course, you want to come out and guard my calves in the spring so they don't get to 'em.

Well... If you supply the travel costs and ammo....
We'll send in Boyzamatica...

Not a big fan of shooting anything unless you eat it. Even then, I'd rather buy from the store lol. I bought a Ruger 10-22 last year and I can't believe how fun it is to shoot. I'm now looking into buying a 22 revolver or some sort of pistol to plink around with.

Put money down for the takedown model.

Also bought two lowers. Going to turn one into a 300 BLK and the other another AR15.

An american staple...........BEST 22 semi ever. Shoots any make of ammo. I have 3 of 'em.

The Ruger 22 Mark II, Mark III and the 22-45 are pretty kick *** pistols. Semi-autos.
