We have grandkids that live near NO and when we visit them, we also go a day or two early just stay in the French Quarter. Had a great meal at Superior Seafood in the Upper Garden District (as I recall) on the last visit

I think I will go back there soon and stay for a week or two. I met a really nice girl there named Serenity or something like that the last time I was there, but the alcohol clouded my memory.

I think she was about 27 but I must have looked like her dad or something because she kept calling me daddy.

I've never been to N'awlins but it is definitely a place on my radar. Looks like an incredibly unique city unlike any other city in the US.
