Really like this guy at 28 if Takk or Watt unavailable. He has the athletic profile of a Marinelli WDE. Guys like Taco and Harris do not IMO.

He's picking up a ton of steam. It's incredible. This year more than any other I can remember, it seems to be so "fad centric" or cyclical. There's a different hot riser now in play in the top 25 seemingly every few days.

I just don't see the fit. Maybe I'm wrong. Tremendous athlete. I'd say he's as quick as Gregory and a better athlete overall. But his legs look so damn skinny. If we were to pick him, do we let him do what he does now? Will Marinelli stray from the four man line?

I would love to be a 3-4 team this year and have the options of Bowser, Watt and Reddick

Well, we supposedly liked similar players like Anthony Barr as an edge.

If you like T.J. Watt, he is another version, perhaps even more athletic and more experienced.

I am still not 100% sold on most of these more natural 3-4 types as fits for the Cowboys, but it is not like they have not evaluated them that way before.

It just seems we are stuck with a lot of strongside types that basically hold the perimeter and really don't have much to attack the pocket. Perhaps that is the thinking, who knows.

Very interesting. I was really hoping we could get him at #60, but I do not think its likely. A thing to keep in mind is that he got 8.5 sacks in just 8 games his senior year and he was dropping back over half the time. I could see where he would spend a year behind DLaw, primarily a pass rusher and then take over the RDE spot in year two.

To me, this sounds a lot like a Rod guy:

Explosive, quick-twitch athlete. Bursts out of his stance and challenges the edge. Good shoulder turn at the edge of rush and can dip and corner with very tight radius. Showed ability to play in variety of spots. Crisp change of direction ability. Took to his coaching and showed drastic improvement against the run this year.

It's why the 3-4 defense is a superior scheme.

I think they are fine with 240-250 pounders at RDE with the speed and bend which some of these 3-4 guys can do even if traditionally undersized, they seem not to care.

What games did you watch of this guy that were impressive? I have watched 2 and I know thats not enough but damn he hasnt done a DAMN THING in 2 games...
