exactly right.folks say Williams because Quinn went and worked him out. The flip side of that coin could be....Quinn hated him and took him completely off the board. Won't know unless he gets to the pick and they draft him or pass him by.

if central michigan ot bernhard raimann makes it to us at 56...i'd have 0 problem with that.
I would love Anderson or Mafe. I'm not as high on Tolbert – I don't think he will be a bust but I'm just not totally sold on his role/usage at the next level. I don't think his physical profile indicates that what he did well against lower competition will translate.
Okay, fair take. Maybe I'm discounting too much based on level of competition. I don't see a nuanced intermediate route runner but I love his downfield highlights. I was on the fence on whether his size/speed/explosiveness would be quite enough to allow that to translate but as I'm typing this I'm reminding myself that his physical traits are comparable to Gallups and we've seen Gallup win on those downfield contested opportunities despite not being a huge guy or athletic marvel.I think the opposite.
I think it's the physical profile that gets him there.
He looks like a man amongst boys at that level.
Small school?
Sure, but those are still some of the best athletes in the country.
Or they wouldn't be playing. Understands the game well. Leadership qualities you want.
I'd agree that Travis Jones would be my dream scenario, but don't expect that to happen.
Out of the three you'd mention, I'd go Mafe > Andersen > Tolbert as I'm convinced you can find a decent WR later, but no so much for the pass rusher or linebacker.
Andersen is pure upside and a lot of people want to make some LVE comparison to Andersen because they're from small schools in the middle of nowhere, similar measurements and white, but Andersen is 10x the athlete LVE is without the injury risk. Dude would help Micah create even more havoc and I'd be thrilled to get him at #56.
i like lucas.Seriously.
That'd be another great pick.
A guy who can play more than one position in the NFL, too.
I doubt he makes it though. A few had us taking him in the 1st.
I can see us signing him up though...trying to lock him down for the future while he's still young.
Here's the thing with this guy, though: he's 24 vs. Tyler Smith, who is 20.
So, Tyler Smith hasn't even finished puberty yet, and could still maybe grow some. lol
I would love that pick though.
Not sure if the Cowboys do it. But he'd be a good start for the line. And you need offensive line.
What about Abraham Lucas?

Travis Jones is a slam dunk. I don't think anybody would have been shocked if he had been drafted in the 1st.No love for Jalen Tolbert?
I hope we don't get cleaned out. Because I like your list.
There was video of Quinn working him out. Quinn appeared to happy as pig in mud.folks say Williams because Quinn went and worked him out. jalen tolbert.
big fan of his game.
but i think at 56 its sam williams.
Looks like we got Tolbert later.
I had him in my 20 pick but I think I swapped in Tyler Smith.. Doh, should have kept them both.
Anyway, glad to have all of these players. We've done well so far.
