MOBILE, Ala. — A leg injury put a bad ending on what had been a good week for Georgia’s Brandon Boykin at the Senior Bowl.
Boykin, who played corner on the South team’s second unit and returned kickoffs, hurt his lower right leg on a return in the second quarter of Saturday’s game at Ladd-Peebles Stadium and did not return.
The Georgia product was taken to an area hospital for X-rays, according to the Washington Commanders’ training staff, who worked with the South team.
