I'm no cap guru, but my understanding is that if he's a June 1 cut, we get the cap hit of $3M dead money and he gets nothing. The $3M is the prorated amount of money he'd already received in previous years as signing bonus, etc.

The only way he earns any money this year from the Cowboys is if he agrees to a pay cut on his current year salary, which is separate from the $3M.

Getting Clabo is huge...... If we can somehow nab him and we can get good team health this year for a change, could VERY easily see us winning the division.
