Based on what I saw at USC he will be 54-90. Not a particularly accurate arm.

As a point of reference, National Football Post ranked Corp slightly ahead of Russell Wilson heading into last year's draft. Ourlads had him as the #8 QB prospect based on Combine performance, fwiw.

1. Robert Griffin, Baylor
2. Jordan Jefferson, LSU
3. Andrew Luck, Stanford
4. Russell Wilson, Wisconsin
5. Austin Davis, Southern Miss
6. Chandler Harnish, Northern Illinois
7. Darron Thomas, Oregon
8. Aaron Corp, Richmond
11. Nick Foles, Arizona
12. Kirk Cousins, Michigan State
Did Not Work Out:
B J Coleman
Brock Osweiler
Ryan Tannehill
Brandon Weeden

Who is running Ourlads? I did not see that list last year. They actually though Jordan Jefferson was the 2nd best prospect last year? Did they ever watch him play? Someone should lose their job for compiling that ranking.

I knew there was a reason to bypass all them young and promising QBS in the draft. And that was to sign these Arena League-skill level backup QBs.

Oh yeah. This year's draft oozed with QB talent everywhere you looked. :laugh2:

what is with the head bang?

He hates everything the Cowboys do because it does not fall in line with what he'd do as an arm-chair GM.

I believe it was based strictly on the Combine results, not game film, which is why I bolded that part. I'll get the exact explanation from my spreadsheet at work tomorrow and post it.

Here's the basis for Ourlad's grade:

"For each position below, we have ranked the players listed by a special Ourlads’ formula we call OSR listed by a special Ourlads’ formula we call OSR (Ourlads Statistical Rating). Each workout field is weighted to the importance of the position – i.e.: for Quarterbacks - height, the short shuttle, 3 cone drill, and Wonderlic test are the most important. Broad jump, vertical jump, 40-yard dash, and 20-yard dash are also important, but not as important as the first four mentioned. For defensive linemen – emphasis is put on the 10-yard dash (shows first step explosion), short shuttle (shows change of direction quickness), and bench press (for upper body strength), then the height, weight, and speed, etc. These are all tools for evaluation, but nothing takes the place of game day productivity."

Here's the link to the full list, "Ourlads' 2012 Combine Rankings by Position": http://www.ourlads.com/nfl-combine-ratings/2012/

He's also mentioned here (along with Caleb McSurdy and Darrion Weems) as a player that "flashed" in the Players All Star Classic Bowl Game: http://blogs.ourlads.com/2012/03/11/players-all-star-classic/

Yep, because I've seen so much success over the past 17 years.

I should just tow the line and get with the program.

Jerry's done an amazing job ... he deserves commendation for everything he does.

I guess we're supposed to get excited over a 4th string QB. Oh ... lemme think about this one. Coprs was rated #8 QB of last year's draft ... ahead of Foles and Cousins. So that must make him a free 3rd QB for us. I love Jerry's line of thinking. I'm really excited.

Now back to our original program of being a mediocre team.

No one said that you should be excited over a 4th string QB or to expect a lot out of the guy. There is no use for that extreme, but you don't have to go to the other end of the spectrum and get irritated that Dallas picked up another body for training camp. That is just the nature of the sport/business to bring in camp bodies.

Adam Caplan ‏@caplannfl 16m Former Bills QB Aaron Corp agreed to a 1-year deal with the Cowboys, source confirmed Corp becomes the 4th QB under contract for the team.

They need an extra arm for the rookie mini camp this weekend.

Dude has about as much chance of making the 53 come week 1 as I do.
