My computer says "Mac OS X doesn't recognize Internet addresses starting with "sop."

What do I do?

Take the Mac back to the store and buy a PC?

Every link there, but the "media player" link, my computer says it does not recognize, and when I click "play" on the media player link, it says "an error occurred."
Did you download the sopcast already? If not, then you need to download the sopcast first.

OK, after I go to that site, what do I need to do to download?

Talk me through. I've tried several things from this site and others and have failed.

OK, I've done that and it gives me two items in a file:changeLog.text and Setup-SopCast-2.0.4-2007-11-26.exe, but that looks like a blank page with the corner folded and just says this when I try to open it: "Unable to read the dictionary of the application or extension because it is not scriptable."

You're running a Mac right?

Edit: If you are, which I think you are, then you need to run Parallels or VMWare or similar....

When you click on the link it should give you an option to open or save the file and once you downloaded the file, you should be able upload it to your computer.

However, since you have Mac, I won't be much of help, sorry.

Are you guys having to tap into the network stream with VLC to get a picture from these channels mentioned above in Sopcast?

You won't be able to get it going before kickoff. They cost too, Parallels is like $79. Not sure about Crossover or Wine.

But if you have Mac OS X Leopard, it comes with bootcamp. I haven't used it myself though.
