It doesn't appear so. I hate it but it 's the truth.

Sometimes, well all the time, I just wish we would just break this team up, the coaching staff up, and just start from scratch. Only keep the young studs, and just figure out how to disassemble this team. Go through a couple of horrible seasons and then come out young and hungry with a core group that can at least compete and be in the fire every year. I'm just tired of the same theme year after year. I have zero hope in this team, I could care less about the draft or free agency, it's just a band aid. And looking at the video you posted, I know we can start over and build a great team. It's been done before, and it happens every year in this league.

Err, no... it does not happen every year. In fact it has happened so rarely in NFL history it is barely worth mentioning. Please stop projecting your fantasies in a public forum. We're not rebuilding, because it's a stupid concept that almost always never works.

Oh yeah..

Orton reminds me of Berliein.

I think before this season is over..

Orton may get his chance to step in for Romo in a serious way for us.

Love him to come thru like Steve Berlein did.

Thanks for the post.

Go Boys.

Orton had a chance to step up just last year in a way that couldn't get much more serious...with the division and playoffs on the line. The coaching staff had him throw 46 times and...well...he didn't come through.

This team is handicapped before the season with wonder boy on the sidelines.

Great memories. Perhaps one of my all time favorite seasons, that '91 season. There was a real sense that the team was building something special.

I don't understand what these are. At the end of pretty much every season I'm all...

Maybe someday I'll know what a "great memory" is when it comes to the Dallas Cowboys. Someday.

I've been wanting to do this since after the 2010 season. By now we would have had that young hungry team just like the Niners do.

The 9ers are older than the Cowboys. SF is one of the oldest teams in the league

I'm afraid we may never see those days again.

We can't keep on the same path forever. At some point even the egomanic owner has to come to the realization we are not a serious threat to win a championship and start making big time changes. With any luck that will be sooner not later.

Darrell Green was a great CB but Irvin seemingly always owned him. Probably the only WR i can recall having much success vs Green during that era.

Watching that again and again and shedding a tear for not only what we were but what we have become.
We deserve better....

I am not totally on board with this but there is something there.

Right now we burn in the ashes, but before we get totally burnt we jump out, therefore not "rising" from the ashes so to speak. We eventually get pushed back in though.
