BP Don't Know Offense

Think about it! How many offensive players has BP been responsible for bringing in that have panned out either via the draft or free agency? ONE player in 4 years. PATHETIC! By the way I am not going to mention guys who are NOT on the team anymore such as Keyshawn, Ryan Young, and Ritchie Anderson because they would still be here if they had panned out they way we had hopped. If they were good but still too old it doesn't count!

Terry Glenn - This was BP's lone good offensive move since he's been here.

T.O - Jerry's move not Bill's. 13 TD's enough said!

Crayton - Gary Gibbs found this kid and told the Cowboys to get him. Gibbs is from Oklahoma and knows the coach as NEOKSU well where Crayton played.

Witten - Yes he was aquired by BP in the draft...BUT...He was advised to pick him much earlier. Dallas got luck and he was still around in the 3rd or 4th round (can't remember) and they got him. From what I've been told this move should 100% be credited to the scouting department.

Fasano - This was BP's tight end. The one he HAD to have. Not such a great rookie year but the jury is still out.

Flozell - He was already here. No credit there.

Kozier - Did a fair job this year. Would be better served as a backup.

Gurode - Was here before the Tuna arrived. Tuna sent him to the dog house and bounced him around the line and now he's back playing very good at center. I credit BP with developing the player but not finding him.

Al Johnson - Another BP gotta have player. It's about time to cut our losses with this kid. I guess he's a good backup center but he's never gonna pan out as a full time starter.

Marco Rivera - Reportedly BP loved this guy and was salavating to get his old *** on our o-line. Well now we get to watch Rivera get his butt kicked any given Sunday. Another old guy who was way past his prime. Bad move Bill.

Marc Columbo - Former 1st round pick by Chicago that was cut and BP picked him up for a look. He had a solid year but the jury is still out. BP gets some credit here but only if he puts together back to back good years. Also he was a 1st rounder with injury problems so it wasn't too hard for BP to at least identify that there is talent there. This one was more luck than skill.

Polite - Demoted to 2nd string halfway through the season as he was beaten out by a linebacker. Probably won't be back next year.

Hoyte - Could be a great move by BP converting this LB to FB. His played dropped off at the end of the year. The jury is still out but this kid could be a player. I hope BP is right on with this one.

Julius Jones - We could have had Stephen Jackson. Enough said!

Marion Barber - Sean Payton find. Payton reportedly got focused on the kid after he attended and U of Minn game when Marion was a sophmore. I am 90% sure that this is true so I am giving BP no credit here.

Drew Bledsoe - Another one of your old stiffs that didn't pan out BP. Genius!

Tony Romo - This one is ALL Sean Payton. He's from Payton's alma matter and Payton was focused on him for quite a while. He was only signed because Payton was so adamit about it. Payton even tried to give Dallas a 2nd round pick for him before the season to become his starter in New Orleans.

Ok posters... Go ahead... Post away!

your thread should be titled BP doesnt know offensive players, not offense, if you dont think BP knows offense, just break out the tapes from the Chan Gailey era all the way to the end of the Campo years, you will puke.

Bill Parcells knows Marion Barber II, so Bill was very much aware of MBIII.

The post reads like you went through the depth chart trying to find the best excuse possible to blame Parcells for each player, and it still isn't very convincing.

Our Offense was decent at times and lousy at others. Regardless of the stats, the O didn't come through when needed.

BP has done a good job of upgrading the talent. Compare the players we have now compared to the "old" days of Gailey/Campo. I'll take BP buying the groceries over JJ buying the groceries anyday.

Nevertheless, BP is alittle to inflexible for his own good. Times have changed and he refuses to change with them. Look at the four coaches in the championship games ... Payton, Bellichik, Dungy, and Smith. I'm not sure any are over 55. They're young(er) and more innovative.

I like BP evaluating the players, but I'm tired of his lousy game planning.

So basically what you are saying is you want to blame Parcells for any player that underachieved, and any who has done well you are trying to find an excuse to give someone else credit
