I don't think that has even crossed Bill's mind. Fans get wrapped up into that type of conversation I don't think Bill does or most head coaches as far as that goes.

I don't doubt that JJ will see a lot of action I don't think Bill is in to proving a point about a draft pick vs one he passed on. I would think his focus is on defeating the Lions this weekend. Barber will also see action

I think they will split carries too.

We play again on Thursday, (3rd game in 11 days) so he will use both backs since he has two.

He doesn't want to wear any one back down with another game 4 days after this one.

I think that is going to be pretty much the way it will be through out the season. There is nothing wrong with that other teams do it as well. Sometimes I think we need to put our past history aside and relize this is a different team and at least for now there is not going to be a single lead back like what we saw with Dorsett or Smith where it was expected they would carry the load in the running game.

I highly doubt Bill will ride Julius as much as he did last year. There is a reason why he drafted Marion Barber III. Bill likes to mix it up with his backfield. And I don't blame him.

Let the Lions wear Kevin Jones out. I could care less. We have three capable RB's in our stable.

I agree that BP has no time to worry about what a RB he might have taken in the draft is doing. I think he is kind of busy with the boys.

Dallas got Spears as part of the trade they used to get Julius. Maybe Parcells is going to put Spears in at fullback to showcase both players against passing on the one Kevin Jones. He can do the same things when the Rams come to town.

I see JJ getting 65-70% of the carries with the majority of the rest going to Barber with Thompson getting a few if any.
